I think I found a bug in the "enhanced" template for DirectAdmin, section: "PHP-FPM config customization |CUSTOMx|" (custom_httpd_fpm.html), there is no button to submit the form to save customized settings and also in line 41 of the html file, instead of the "<form>" I think it should be "</ form>". I modified the file by adding the submit button code and modified the "<form>" to close the form and now I could save my custom settings.
