Bugs in Direct Admin install?

I had to rebuild some servers. Used same Centos7 DVD that I used before dozens of time with no issues. Installed DA using the given script: bash <(curl -LSs https://download.directadmin.com/setup.sh || curl -LSs https://download-alt.directadmin.com/setup.sh) 'auto'
I encounter all sort of errors, all together or only one or two with each new install, like: phpmyadmin not displaying, in extra features, custom build not displaying, ftp not working or not present, service httpd is down....some others. I changed the Centos7 with Alma Linux 8 with same exact errors. Tested also Alma Linux 9, it says DA is not supporting AL9. Any ideea? Done dozens of DA installs in the past using same Centos7 DVD and install script with no issues. Same error on different machines as well. Anybody knows possible cause? Thanks.

Below is the result of a fresh install Alma 8 + DA. Same on CentOS 7. Custombulud and phpmyadmin are missing. FTP not working. HTTPD down (message on top)

AlmaLinux 9 is supported. You mention "all sort of errors", but did not mention any error. May you paste any of them? Did you check "Message System", are you sure installation has finished?

Yes installation was finished, DA password...user...etc were displayed at the end. Errors were mentioned. phpmyadmin not displaying, in extra features, custom build not displaying, ftp not working or not present, service httpd is down....some others.
Alma Linux 9 not supported. Received message while installing that AL9 is not supported by DA.

These are not errors. Please screenshot a proof of finished installation from the Message System.

Regarding AlmaLinux9 - limitation was removed only yesterday.

DirectAdmin should be accessible now
If you cannot connect to the login URL, then it is likely that a firewall is blocking port 2222. Please see:

CustomBuild installation has started, you may check the progress using the following command: tail -f /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/install.txt
[setup.sh] You will receive a message in the DirectAdmin panel when background installation finalizes.

The following information has been set:
Admin username: admin
Admin password: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Admin email: [email protected]

Server Hostname: server-82-78-165-202.da.direct

[setup.sh] To login now, follow this URL: http://server-82-78-165-202.da.direct:2222/CMD_LOGIN_URL?hash=M6TSIVLBZQJCBHxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Also it's not finished, it provides DA access data from start now, next:

also it will notify in DA messages after install. Usually install takes 20-60 minutes depends on your hardware.

I am sure there are errors in install script...files....whatever as I previously installed DA on same machines, using same Centos 7 disk and same everything. For several days something is happening as mentioned. There are same errors on Centos7 and Alma 8, so problem is connected with DA install.

still not solved on Ubuntu 20 when installed nginx+php-fpm (without apache). replacing apache to nginx in this conf file solves problem.

I still see no errors pasted from the message system. Unfortunately, I cannot help without this.

Missing phpmyadmin and custombuild is not error? missing ftp not error? httpd down no error? this is something new, happens for the past 1-2 weeks. no issues before that. all problems with fresh install centos7/alma 8+DA, same issues.
will do other fresh install alma9+ DA in 2 hours and report.

No, as you can see the latest install posted what you see in the screenshot in post #14.
So you have to wait until you get the messages in DA that background installation finished. That can take 20-60 minutes, depending on your vps/server resources.

I know what you are saying, will wait 1 hour see if any message pops up. Installing again now with Alma 9. Done the install dozen of times in the past with no issues.
