Is there a BUGS forum?
If you take a backup of a user from one server with a user:apache perm on directories and files, when you restore that file to another DA server the result is still user:apache regardless of what the existing servers perms are across all the user accounts
As part of a restore there should be a routine that checks this to ensure that it matches the rules of the new server.
What a headache this has been. When I restored my files to the new server running as user:user I had to change chown -R directory of every users directory.
I even tried the set perms script. That did not change it either. Why is that? Isn't this an important feature, to ensure that the user perms are set correctly according to what is being run on the server?
Thanks
