I am having trouble trying to look at an end user and accertain from the DA information exactly what their data transfer has been for a given month.

The short of it is i need to be able to say to a customer,
here is your usage for this month ( And charge them accordingly )

example would be something like this.

Customer 'x' ( domain name = mycompany.com )

email = 20 mb
ftp = 5 mb
web / other = 5 mb

total = 30 mb @ $ 1.00 per mb = $ 30.00

( the amounts and the rate is only an example )

i am only looking for a way of getting the data usage not the accouting stuff. ( i can charge them myself IF i know what they are using )

I ask this because this server costs me in relation to the amount of data being transfered INTO the box ( i pay per mb ) so i need to know what my customers are using so i can charge them.

*************

This is why i have posted this on the forum... ( i have found something that confuses me )

I looked at a domain i set up and looked at its usage ( bandwidth ) it showed at the time , this

Bandwidth - disk Usage - Log Usage
3.02586 - 0.587205 - 0.0620689

Then i sent ( testing ) a 3 mb file to the site via email , sent it, received it back again by email ( all good so far ) then i checked the stats again and no change, ( how often does it update ? )

The whole thing about disk usage is "interesting info" but for me its all about data transfer.

Can someone point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Ron
