Can a User account use API?

Hi!

I think I know the answer, but I want to make sure...

Can a directadmin user (not admin) use the API to modify their domains, create pop accounts, etc?

I am working on a web app, which needs to allow the user to manage their Directadmin account. Right now it seems like I have to obtain the users login information and fake-browse directadmin to do all the things i want to do.

As far as i know yes, user can use API commands.
