I would like to ask if DA must be installed using a "Clean" linux?
That is a newly install linux??

I have install lampp before, after my boss buy the DA...I remove the lampp and install the DA

Apache, PHP, Mysql and phpMyAdmin work fine...
but can access the DA via port 2222
I even try to turn off the firewall...it still can connect...

Then I try to restart the DA...it comes up with
root@server data]# /sbin/service directadmin restart
Stopping DirectAdmin: [FAILED]
Starting DirectAdmin: /usr/local/directadmin/directadmin: error while loading sh
ared libraries: libssl.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or dir
ectory
[FAILED]

seems the DA have never start...any one know why the libssl.so.6 can not open??

um...maybe the license have a wrong os version...
I found out the license is Fedora7/Fedora 8...
but my server is running Fedora 9...

I would like to know if it is possible to ask DA technical support to change the license to Fedora 9?? Need any extra money to do that?
