can i close certain features ?

hello,

im testing and learning directadmin now,

for some feature,admin can set if it works for reseller or users in "Administrator Settings".


but now,i want to ask i can turn off some features,

for example,i do not hope the Server Information is accessable for resellers or users,

is it possible i can use any method to turn off them ?

System Information is available to Resellers & Users, though you can't directly turn that feature off from within the Admin Panel as of right now. You could remove the link however, if they know the CMD URL then they would be able to access it by typing it in.

there are rvskin for the management to do the control,

but it seems directadmin do not have this feature now.

RVSkin is a more deeply integrated theme for CPanel and it's also a third party release. That said, what you're asking for *could* be done however, it would take someone with a bit more knowledge of the inner workings of DirectAdmin to be able to enable/disable additional features that are not already set from with the Admin Panel.

The server information provided really provides nothing more than some basic stats that one could view with simple PHP scripting. It wouldn't take long to either create a PHP file that would display the same or find a script that's already pre-built to do it for them .

Under the Admin/Reseller account go to a already created package or make a new one, uncheck the "System Info" box if you don't want the clients/resellers to see it.

yes,i know many php script could call out those infomation,

but in my memory,

it can be turn off from php.ini to no response.

You can disable certain PHP functions which will, in turn, prevent users from using such scripts however, you're also possibly disabling the use of said functions to Users & Resellers that may actually have a valid need for them. Quite a few billing scripts require some of the most commonly disabled PHP functions .

As for the original question, it seems I overlooked a few things. Jissh noted how the disable to direct viewing of the system information from the the Panel in a post above .

i check and it works now,

but it seems that after modify the package,

it not still does not change for the account accociated with the package,

i need to modify the account directly and it will really be changed to no.

That's correct. Once users are created from a package they're disassociated from the package so they can be changed individually.
