I just migrated my site from a Cpanell reseller site over to my own VPS/DirectAdmin.

Can I keep the same Cert or do I have to re-issue another one?

As long as both, the old and then new, server/VPS use the same server software to generate the CSR, you can transfer and use your SSL cert on the new server.

they are different platforms. I was on a Cpanel system before and now I'm on DA.

I tried installing the key and CSR that I have from my old site. It said it was Installed Successfully.

Now that my site has fully propagated, it is giving me an authentication error, but it isn't picking up the certificate that I uploaded, it is trying to authenticate against the default server cert that is self signed.

How do I delete the one I uploaded and then re-install a new one.

I was referring to the server software that generates the CSR and not the cotrol panel.

I suggest you read the documentation on HowTo install/update SSL certificates provided by the company where you got the SSL certificate from.
