Can I Use Another MySQL DB Manager?

Hello all,

I used to use MySQL DBManager Pro by http://www.dbtools.com.br and MySQL Administrator by http://www.mysql.org for my remote database managements, but now neither one of them will connect to the mysql database.

Is it possible to use those tools with the DirectAdmin?

DA doesn't care and doesn't put anything in the way of a manager working, but the problem may be in your firewall in giving your local system's IP# permissions to work in the database.

We've used the mysql.org desktop solution from here without problems, but I don't remember the details.
