can not reach port 2222 login page

server is placed behind a watchguard firewall
tcp port 2222 is open to directadmin server

1. service iptables stop (confirm disable by lokkit , & network restarted)
2. can login the server via SSH with any PC
3. can visit the page at port 80 with any PC

CAN NOT visit the login page at 2222 with any other PC

any glue?

no luck

I can only login to the server domain, not any virtual host ...
any reason?

So you can log into port 2222 for your server domain? But not for any virtual host?

Please explain, step by step, what you've tried, that doesn't work.

if you see the login page with any virtual host but you cant log correctly that depend on refer into directadmin.conf

if you cant reach the virtual host well, are they on same ip of the server domain?
 
Hope is ok if I join.

I have the same problem I can access the server via :20 (ssh) and :2222 via putty login and all.

I can't access it via the browser.

The web sites works:

www.summitcranes.co.za

our login is 196.33.14.74:2222

Work for me too.

Maybe you put some different DNS Primary and Alternative in LAN (or Wifi) configuration so the DNS in wifi connection arent working proprely or are not updated yet
 
Some ISPs block port 2222; we've found certain cellphone connections block it.

Not up yet.

I have no ports blocked all open and all is working but still can't get to the control panel. even with bare ip 196.33.14.74:2222 it is not working
 
can you telnet to that port?

open cmd prompt --> type:

Do you not use your wireless network to access the internet? Using your wireless network to access the internet can you reach the DirectAdmin demo? http://www.directadmin.com:2222/

Yes I can I checked the whole network can't see where I blocked port 2222 however I can see

http://www.directadmin.com:2222/ works 100% but I can't see my own server http://196.33.14.74:2222/

Thanks for all comment and help I am just crazy as I don't under stand this problem
 
Yes,

This is what I get :

[root@plet /root]# telnet 196.33.14.74 2222
Trying 196.33.14.74...
Connected to 196.33.14.74.
Escape character is '^]'.

I can also ssh to port 2222
