can not use mail() from php

i find that the phpinfo.php show me the default sendmail path is /usr/sbin/sendmail
but as directadmin do not install sendmail for me, but da-exim, so, i can not use php to send email, anyway, do anyone can teach me how to edit php.ini to let me be able to use php to send email ?

/usr/sbin/sendmail does exists, it is a link to the exim executable. So you shouldn't have any problems. Almost everyone uses php with mail() :s
