can you run both, php 5 fcgi and mod_php ?

Hi,

I was wondering how hard it would be to support both mod_php and php5fcgi?
and let .htaccess decide which you can use?

anyone know?

i dont think I have the time , nor the patience, to go through each pages one by one. o_O
