Cannot access DirectAdmin account

Hi all,

First of all, I am a total noob so my apologies for my lack of expertise.
I launched my first website but for some reason I can no longer access my DirectAdmin account even though I am pretty sure I am using the right username/password. Unfortunately, I do not see an option to reset the password so I have no idea how to fix this issue and I really need to login fast. Is there anyone that can help me out?

First of all, do you have SSH (console) access to your server? If yes, the admin password can be found here if you did not change it:
/usr/local/directadmin/scripts/setup.txt

If you are a customer of some hosting company, you have to contact your hosting company.

If you owned the server or vps, access to your SSH and type "passwd admin", you will be able to change the admin password. Most easy way to do so.

So why change the password via SSH if you can read the current password in the file? That's even more easy.
