cannot access http://ip:2222

i have looked through the forums and even re-installed directadmin, all seems to have gone just fine, i cant see any errors but i cannot access the directadmin interface. any ideas?

Do you have a firewall or anything that might be blocking port 2222?

hi, no there is no firewall. i am able to access another server using that port without a problem.

i have centos on the server and when installing directadmin it asked if i want to continue installing "enterprise 5" is this correct for centos? is it reading as red hat?

anyone? ive tried changing the ports and restarting directadmin but no go


also should apache show its successful install page when i go to just the ip? i am not seeing that

nevermind got it, the problem was the iptables not letting it through
