Solved Cannot change forum username?

Hello everyone,

A couple of weeks ago, I requested a username change for my forum account. (Given that I an gonna change my alias but would like to keep my history.)
Now in my account settings it says "You recently requested to change your username and this is currently awaiting approval by a moderator."
But given that it is still not approved, I was wondering if the moderators ever approve a username change.

Does anyone know if the moderators do approve username changes or is it something that never happens?

I guess it was already changed. As a moderator I did not get any notification about it. And not too sure who confirmed the rename.

OK, then forum administrator can approve it only, I guess. I was confused by:

That was from a couple of year ago.
I requested a change to Daniel_Dog.
And in my account settings, it still says the request needs moderator approval.

And thus I am also not able to rerequest the username change.
