cannot login anymore

Hello,

This morning I tried logging in with my account on my DA server, but it didn't accept the password... I tried logging in as admin and also that password was not accepted!

Now I tried altering the password with "passwd", but no luck.

I booted the server, but now none of the services come up anymore, directadmin, exim, mysql, apache etc. I have to start them by hand, only MySQL and exim refuse to start..

What is going on here? The logs tell me nothing, empty or old old errors..

Ok my bad, the disc was full!

It was a new server with a small disc. I deleted some old backups and now it is fine again, strange behaviour though

But on the other hand, is there a script that cleans useless stuff generated over time?

No there isnt.

You should store backups on another box.
You can clean old tars with "Run clean every time: yes" in custombuilds option.conf
