Cannot reset ownership

centos 5.4 32bit

when reset the ownership,

"An error occured while resetting the file ownership"

but no Details?

how to fix it? maybe system issue. my another servers no this problem.

where to check the directadmin log?

Directadmin admin level login -> Log Viewer
or, SSH root access, in /var/log/directadmin/
