Cannot send all virtual users an email or export them

Hi,

I need to send an email to all users. Not the user accounts (Like ticket system) but all E-Mail Accounts. We need to send all users an important message to inform them about some server issues and downtime they are gonna have. So need help quickly.

I think i have 2 options, but can't find a solution for them.

1. Create an alias in exim to send an email directly to all email accounts
2. Export a list of all email accounts as complete email-adresses and send them an email using an email client.

Any ideas?
 
Why would all the customers hosted on a server want a spam from you? If your main customers want to get an email then just use your support system or whatever you have on your billing software...do not spam every single end user.
 
I agree this is not the best solution, but currently i have no option to acces a list of email adresses. I need a way to mail all the local email accounts.

Hope someone has any idea to get this done.
 
Doubt anyone is gonna tell you how to do it because its impractical and immoral. You can read up on exim config if you wanna do it yourself.
 
I found your response as a system administrator not quite usefull. When you do this on a regular basis i understand your statement. We currently need to inform all users of the system and with sendmail it's quite easy to do. For exim i can't find any documentation on this.

really need to do this.
