Cannot send any email - fixed!

Hello,

I am having problems - I cant send any email. I have read many threads on this forum and can't find anything to help!

I have tried sending email through standard SMTP and sendmail neither of which are successful.

This is the kind of email I receive back when I try and send something.. (I have left all the hostname info etc as true info, I have only changed the email address sent from and to).

Where's the numeric error message? Without a better error message there's no way to tell why you can't send email to mail.com.

Jeff

Thank you for your reply. I am unable to find a numeric error message. I checked the logs at /var/log/exim/mainlog and it appears the message was sent correctly... (have left everything the same)

Its fixed!

If anyone else has the same problem it was due to me having the domains on the server but an external mail server. So I just unticked the box on the MX page and all worked fine.

Thanks, Matt
