Cant create subdomain. - error writing the db file

I am trying to create a sub domain but getting this error and my server admin cant solve.

Unfortunately, there appears to be an error with the zone file and without being able to actually read it, it might be hard for anyone to help. Feel free to message me the image privately, and the output of the following:

/sbin/named-checkzone $DOMAIN /var/named/$DOMAIN.db
 
Does the subdomain already exist in the zone file? You can try removing it and then try again to create the subdomain.

It always amazes me how people want to hide their domain name here when they normally want people to know their domain name and go to great lengths to advertise it and get it listed in Google.

Hmm i understand your point.
But some has also todo with EU privacy rules i suspect or a combination with those , and yes or no understanding of the contracts you have with customers on those boxes.

And not all want to be found in google or.. ;)
I did for some i did found a mail to some police because of the content haha. Yes very wrong bad content.? NO DA boxes
 
But domains are public. Ips are public. There is no getting around that and it would help us when diagnosing a problem.

Correct, if you know them. I understand the sense of masking. Having your domain name present on a forum leads often to more attack and bruteforces. Just like email addresses on forums lead to more spam.
It's the main reason that if I have a questio I also mask my domain name and ip's.

If you are a customer, you should ask your hoster or server admin for support.
This is mainly a forum for admins and resellers, not for customers.
For these questions to be answered, you have to be able to view files via SSH and view server logs.
 
Hey, I just dont wanna get more attack and bruteforces like you said. Can you somebody help me with this? I bought just some reseller licence for one year and directadmin support told me they dont support me. I have server with Hetzner and my server admin which is really pro cant find documentation or something to solve the issue. Otherwise I need to buy new server and I move to Plesk. Thanks for understanding.

Because of SEO and content, you shouldn't have domain names here on forum while the topic of content if no hosting is here mostly something else then. So the links for seo could hurt that seo ? PM is better
