can't install php 7.4 on debian 12

hey guys im having a issue with my directadmin for installing php 7.0 or higher , i recently change my server to debian 12 but evry time i try to install php 7.4 pn it i get this error "php 5.x, 7.x and 8.0 cannot compile against openssl 3.0 or higher. Try php 8.1 or higher."
can somebody help me with it pls ? :)
 
You might want to install Debian 11 because there you can install older php versions.
If you want to install php 7.4 on Debian 12, you have to compile that manually and seperately, which can cause issues anyhow.

I think somebody had compiled openssl 1.1.x in Debian 12 or Ubuntu next to Openssl, but I can't find it anymore.

If you don't mind installing Debian 11, you might want to choose that.
