Cant login after install DA

After finished install DA, I can't login as admin.
in /home there is no admin folder

I can't set passwd admin, it's no such user.
When I create a admin user by

# adduser admin
# passwd admin

It is still cannot login to DA, how can I solve this problem?

Does the DA control panel work properly as admin?

We always set up the admin account before we install DirectAdmin, so I don't know what happens if you don't.

If the DA control panel doesn't work properly as admin, then you may want to try setting up the admin control panel manually from the shell, and then reinstalling DirectAdmin. Note that doing so will delete anything you've already set up.
