Cant login to my FTP

Hello,

I have a new hosting account with AmeriNOC and I'm having a problem connecting to my FTP login to the top level domain that I created.

I created the login (example):

[email protected]
password

Using filezilla, I enter the address as ftp.sitename.com with the login and password exactly as shown above and connecting on port 21, but my login/pass are getting rejected.

I have never had this problem before... I also tried the user name without @sitename.com, but nothing seems to work.

Not sure what conclusions to draw from this... is there perhaps a short delay from the time you create an FTP account to the time you're able to log in to it or what?

Resolved

Nevermind. I figured it out. My domain name has not been fully established on the server yet, so I have to login to the FTP with the IP address instead, and then the login works fine.
