cant restore account

copied one account backup file and tried to restore it on new server. now its thorwing error like

baycleartours20 is not a valid username

Default username length in Directadmin is 10 characters so the name is too long.

I presume this is a cpanel backup? Or from a DA server which you changed the username length before.

User this command via SSH:

/usr/local/directadmin/directadmin set max_username_length 16
service directadmin restart

Wait a minute and then try the restore again, should be fine then.
