This is very strange. If I change the cert, apache restarts and the web browsers tell me it is still the old cert. If I remove the cert and leave the .crt file blank, apache will not reload. How does this make sense. I am trying to update my cert:(

I am also confused even more. I was able to update the server wide cert by giving the httpd.conf references a new name instead of pasting in the old file. It works. However when I log into DA over ssl with the same domain I get the original cert. I see the DA conf refers to a different cert in a different place. But I am certain I did not buy 2 certs with the same common domain. Someone please enlighten me.

DirectAdmin and apache are two different programs. They each refer to their own configuration file to know where a cert is installed.

You can either change the configuration file for DA to point to the same place as the configuration file for apache points to, or you can put the key and the cert itself into two different places.
