Hello,
We have replace one or our servers for a 64bit dual xenon.
The server wich has been replaced was a Pentium 4 3.0 GHz, 2 GB, FC2.
The new one is a dual xenon 2GHz, 2GB, Centos 4.4 64bit.
The load on P4 server was about 0.4 average. On the new one it is about 5 average and sometime it's going up to 30.
On the times when the load is 30, the server is swapping (kswapd0). But sometimes the output of top shows mem free: 1 GB average. Not all the time! One cpu busy?
On the new server I see one mysqld process, but on the old one: many. Is that a difference of mysql 4 and 5?
I think mysql is eating memory? But why? I use the mysql settings of:

What's the problem of my server?
