Centos 4 how to overwrite newer drivers with older derivers

On Centos 4, we installed newer National Instruments Software than we required HOWEVER when we uninstall the newer software drivers and then reinstall with the older National Instruments software drivers we keep getting the below.
Are there any switches that will allow us to either OVERWRITE the newer drivers
or
completely remove this software
