Centos 5.2 DA - Compatibility

hello,

Is directadmin compaitable with centos 5.2, I am planning in installing Centos 5.2 and then DA.

Do I have to notify DA about this install that I am upgrading my server to Centos 5.2 or I can just simply install that on my server.

Please respond.

i run centos 5.2 32bit, when you register your directadmin you can select "ES 5.0"

i did had to notify sales but i was running 64bit initially, but went back to 32bit to be uniform with other servers,
and to be sure i would contact sales, they respond very quick.



my 2 cents are :if your directadmin client login shows "ES 5.0" then you can upgrade / reinstall 32bit,
if your DA client login shows something else then you must contact sales, otherwise DA will download the wrong install binaries during install (and yes also if you have "ES 5.0 64bit" but pls check it with sales to be absolutely sure

you can read the supported versions :
RedHat Enterprise / CentOS 3.0, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 5.0, 5.1, 5.2 (64-bit: 4.1 - 4.5, 5.0, 5.1)

you see missing the 64bit 5.2 support but if you browse arround on the forum, you can see people using this too.
still wonder why its not official yet.
