I'm set on CURRENT-channel, but none of my server has upgraded automatically to 1.669. Any reason for that?

This is why I use Debian..... Easy to upgrade versions, 9>10>11 without starting afresh...... No doubt other OS' are easy but......

That is why I don't freshly install a vps or server with an EOL OS while Alma 9 is out there already for some time. But yes, Debian is easier to upgrade versions.

Since you can't execute "yum update" anymore.

I'm not recommend to elevate on already EOL OS, it could go wrong because some missing update package version.

if you sure it latest updated version, you can try it.

You can easily go around that limitation. I still got a virtual box running CentOS 7 for some test stuff and yum works there. Just had to update the repo to point to the correct archive.
