CentOS 8 Information

Hello!

We're very excited that the CentOS team has released version 8.
As of October 9, 2019, we've labelled it into "Release Candidate" phase, RC1.

We'll update this thread once we have more information.

I see that CentOS 8.x 64-bit ALPHA now is available at https://www.directadmin.com/install.php and also is available to select in licenses. Hopefully some will test it, so that we can have a beta soon.

Installed on a Centos 8 Server and it works perfect without any problems or errors for our case.

We will do in the next days more check and give feedback.

Yup for test only on a openstack instance. ( without supported ....) then lan license manual for DA works there. ( in my case, but could working because i did something wrong haha ) NetworkManager , .......pfff

So not all things installed / configured yet

But mail basis , csf, clamav are working.

Also the epel version for centos 8 with powertools, htop and lynis , mlocate , cloudinit.
