CGI Trouble

I am having problems with CGI. I placed a script named index.cgi in a directory full of images. Its a script to automatically create thumbnails.

I keep getting this:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /robert/index.cgi on this server.

I have CHMOD'ed index.cgi to be executeable and everything. Is there anything else I can do to make this work?

Had to create an .htaccess file with: "Options ExecCGI" in it.

Then I'm guessing for some reason cgi was/is marked by DA as being turned off for your domain.
