With the addition of Spam Assassin (which I love BTW), it has brought to light something that I think would be wonderful to have addressed.
I had a customer who had not set a catchall setting, so by default it is set to "Notify sender" that the address they are sending to is invalid.
Long story short... from Sunday of this week, to yesterday at about 5pm, they received over 104,000 emails. Approx 98,000 of which were in a loop where the spammer sent to a nonexistant email addy using forged info. The server replied that the addy was invalid to the forged addy, and received a failure notification to the nonexistant account which generated another email etc etc etc.
So, my request is that we have the DEFAULT Catchall setting moved down to "Ignore/Disregard" mail to invalid accounts.

Thanks
