Change domain in advanced options

I use 3-95.com for hosting.

I am a total newb with this kind of stuff, but if I change my domain through the Advanced Tools->Domain Administration->Change a domain name

Will the charge me for the domain registration fee or do I need to do this seperately?

I changed the domain and I understand it takes a while to propagate out to the DNS servers, but I got it in my head now I did something wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

Before you change your domain name you need to own that domain name and you need to make sure your registrar has it pointed to your hosting company's nameservers.
