Change hostname miles address

Server's Hostname:server.xxxxx.org

"From" mail: [email protected]

[email protected]

The mails coming here are all faulty mails. How can I change this e-mail address?

This has been written lots of times on the forums. Please next time to a search first.

To be able to get root mail, use one of these 2 methods.

1.) edit /etc/aliases
change:
#root: marc
to
root: [email protected]
so don't forget to remove the # character in front either.

Just to be sure give this command after saving the file:
newaliases
and then restart Exim.

2.) Go to /root and create a .forward file
add your email address in there

Option 2 does not always work as good as option 1.
