Change IP to server from owned...

Hi there!

Could someone please give me a tip on how I change an IP address from being "owned" to "server". FYI I posess two IP addresses. I'd like both of them to be shared. Now only one of them is shared and the other one "owned" and dedicated to a specific reseller. Can I do it manually, by just updating a file or what do I do? Netmask is set to "255.255.255.0"...

Hello,

To change an owned IP to become shared, you must first remove the User from that IP. Go to:

Reseller Level -> List Users -> username -> Modify username's data -> select the other shared IP, and hit save.

Then, the owned IP will become free.

To make it shared, go to:

Reseller Level -> IP Manager -> select the Free IP and click "set as shared".

Only a free IP can become shared, so it needs to be freed first.
An IP that is free which gets assigned to a User will become owned.
An IP must be set as "shared" before assigning a User to it if you plan on adding more than 1 User to it.
