Change license info yourself?

Running in a bit of a problem. We are moving shared servers to another colocation. Today I scheduled to do the last one since contract with old provider stops tomorrow :(
I asked for a license change last week which was done. I now checked the client controlpanel and it seems the ip is changed but not the OS.... I emailed support but it's weekend so not sure if they check. Is there any way to workaround this license thing for the part of the OS??
 
Support was very fast in responding to my email so problem solved. But maybe there should be a feature somewhere in the controlpanel to de-activate the license somehow for a fixed period of say 48 hours to gain time to reach support??
