change phpmyadmin password

I have just made a new account but for the 1st time with a sql database. I have been trying to gain access to the phpmyadmin, but appearanty is this a differentie password than to access the direct admin.
Can anybody help me with this?

You need to create at least 1 db on the new account for enable phpmyadmin access.

I've been always curious, why do they try to get access into phpMyAdmin, if they have none DB created?

Why do you want to get there? Do you think phpMyAdmin is the only right way to create a DB? Or what?
