Change the Welcome message template

Hi there

When adding a user account to DirectAdmin is it actually possible to edit the 'default' welcome message?

I know you can edit a message.. but the default would be good.

Do you have SSH access as I know you can do it in there?

You need to edit ...
/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/yourUsername/u_welcome.txt

I think the above path is correct, it is for server admin anyway!

From the reseller level, go to the create a new user page. At the bottom of the form where the checkbox is to send the welcome email is a link. Clicking on that will open the u_welcome.txt file for editing, but you can do it either way.
