Hi,

There is no GUI option to change the TTL of pointer DNS records.

Also,
would it be possible to have pointer records follow their parent records?
Like when adding test.domain.be it would also add test.pointerdomain.be

This 2nd fix would also fix my 3rd issue:
When restoring a domain on a new server. IPv6 records are added automaticly to the DNS (new server has IPv6). But these aren't added to the pointer record.

Hello,

DirectAdmin stores the TTL override values in the file:
/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/username/domains/domain.com.conf

since a pointer doesn't have a "conf" file, this would be why the override doesn't work.

The only solution would be to create a new conf file, eg:
/var/named/pointer.com.ttl

or something like that.. which, if exists, will be used for the TTL value for the pointers.. which would allow them to be edited.

Would that work?

John
