Is it possible to change where the actual files for any given domain are stored and accessed from? For my situation, which may be unique/unusual, I do not want or need to give my clients access to DirectAdmin. Anything that needs to get done goes through me.
I would like each of my clients (each client has several domains) to be accessible only via FTP, but I want to keep all the domains under the "Admin" account in DA (for easy monitoring/changes), and I would like my Admin FTP account to be able to access them all.
A setup like this would be ideal: Admin FTP -> Client Folders -> Domain Folders
This means I can make them an FTP account just in their own company's folder, which will then list folders for each of their domains. I'd need a folder for each client under my Admin FTP root I think, but how can I make these types of changes while still having each domain work correctly?
This may be slightly defeating the purpose of DA, but it's a lot easier for someone illiterate with computers to type out an email to me with a list of 3 things they want done than to learn DA and how to make the changes themselves. It's just always how I've done it with the types of clients I have (medical practices, financial firms, law firms, etc. who don't want to deal with anything).
Thanks,
Joe
