Changing Domains

When I registered my domain here (ibewjw.net) I had it transferred from another host provider, fully intending to use it here. Since then, I have decided that I would rather use another domain here that I own (fatmansworld.net) and transfer this one (ibewjw) to the company that now hosts fatmansworld.net. Yee old swapparoo, so to speak.

Is this doable? If so, how do I go about it?

Hello,

Through advanced tools --> domain management you can wipe out all your domains (e.g. ibewjw.net) and then create a new domain (e.g. fatmansworld.net). This of course wouldn't allow a swap of content -- you'd have to upload all files again.

Oh Oh, Mark,

I followed your directions as closely as possible, and it won't delete the account. Without deleting this account, I can't add the other one.

Please check into this for me.

What do you mean it won't delete the account? Is there an error message? If your the admin you can create as many domains as you want and you shouldn't have to remove your old one.

If you a user and your account only has one domain slot you won't be able to delete the domain because an account always needs a domain associated with the account. If this is the case try Changing the domain name instead of deleting and creating it.

Apparently, something I did worked or a technician took care of it for me. Fatmans World.net is now listed on the account. Everything seems Ok for now, anyway.
