Due some contract changes I may need to change my IP addresses on my directadmin server.

Does this have any impact on the Directadmin license - do I have to update my license with DA?

Does it have any effect on the SSL certificates on the Server?

Thanks in advance. My searches did not show the questions or answers I was looking for.

Yes, you have to contact Directadmin Sales and inform them so they will validate your new ip address.

Normally SSL Certificates have their own seperate ip address. If that ip changes it will have effect and you have to update your Certificates too. At least as far as I know.

You do NOT need to do anything with your Certificate; the IP# is not saved in the Certificate.

That depends.

From the Globalsign website:
Typically a SSL Certificate is issued to a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) such as www.domain.com. However some organizations need a SSL Certificate issued to an IP address. This option allows you to specify an IP address as the Common Name in your Certificate Signing Request. The issued certificate can then be used to secure connections directly with the IP address, e.g. https://123.456.78.99.

However, normally it's the domain name, so there I was wrong.
