Changing JPG images

I'm helping a friend with her web site and she has had some difficulty when replacing JPG images. She uploaded the file (I've tried too) and it uploads, but the area were the jpg is suppose to show up has a red X in the upper left hand corner of the image area. The dimensions of the jpg are exactly what they are suppose to be and in the htm lanuage for that page - the dimensions are exactly like they are suppose to be.

Any ideas?

Did you guys upload in ascii or binary?

They just uploaded the file entitled plan2b.jpg. Wouldn't ASCII apply more towards text? Sorry - I hate to sound so stupid.

The image “http://www.berico.com/plan2b.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Thats the debug output..

Try saving it as a .jpg again.

She went back in and resaved the file and uploaded it and it worked.

Question for you - why is it so quirky? Is it that something gets jumbled when you are saving the file - or during the upload process??
