Changing Protected Folder Prompt

I've tried searching the forum for clues but can't see to find a way of changing the prompt that a user sees what attempting to access a password protected folder.

Please can someone point me in the right direction.

You do that when you create the protection.

OK, thank you. I thought there might be a global template file that I could alter somewhere...apparently not.

Unfortunately, it's not really flexible enough for what I want because of the additional text 'wrapped around' the text that you enter.

The popup box doesn't come from the site; it comes from the browser viewing the site.

For anyone else following this, the following message is wrapped around the customized message that you can specify using DirectAdmin.

The server www.domain.com at [customized message] requires a username and password.

You therefore need to think of something meaningful that will follow the word 'at'!
