Changing Server IP

The datacenter that I am hosting my server with gave me notice that they are migrating all customers to a new IP block/subnet. Since DirectAdmin licensing is somewhat based around IP's bound to a NIC, will this affect me trying to move the server to a 69.x.x.x IP address from the current 192.216.x.x address?

After going through and running the script, I was successfully able to change the IP and new license. No problem there.

After doing this I need to remove the old 192.216.x.x IP from the control panel's/clients use and to get them moved over onto the new 69.64.x.x IP. When I goto resellvers -> IP configuration I notice there are 6 users on the old IP and 0 on the new IP. How do I get those users over to the new IP so I can free up and delete the old IP?

Also in that same window it says that the 69.64 IP is "Shared" and the 192.216 IP is "server". Does this make any difference? If I remember the old IP will the new IP become "server"??

Any thoughts, advice?

Hey,

Just a thought...

Did you run this line from the instructions:

echo "action=cache&value=showallusers" >> /usr/local/directadmin/data/task.queue
