REQUEST
============================
How do I change the default index.html
page that is sent with new users.
Normally in common unixes it could be
into /etc/skel/public_html but with Direct
Admin, it is not that.... i have seen into
/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/default.

When i change the index.html into its
default directory, I restart Apache, Delete the new (empty) user, restart DA, and
then re-create the new user... but it still
dont show the new default index it shoud
be shown.... why?
=============================

Thank you

The skeleton index.html file at:

/usr/local/directadmin/data/templates/default/index.html

is used by the admin account when new resellers are created.

All resellers have their own skeleton index.html file at:

/home/<reselleraccountname>/domains/default/index.html

In both cases, supporting files are in the same directory path.

I've been strugling with this for a while now too..

I did just as suggested, and the default page remains the same for new users.

any other ideas?

I'd say check with DirectAdmin support if your copy of DirectAdmin includes support.
