Hi All,
Since I've installed clamd on my system I get these messages. The problem is that most messages are scanned and sent through. However in some cases I get the above message (for instance when sending an email from hotmail). I've looked at my permissions, clamd and exim configuration but everything seems to be in order. Clamd runs as user clamav and that user is added to the group: mail. The group mail has write permissions on the exim/scan folder.
Here the exact message from the paniclog of exim:
2009-05-19 08:19:22 1M6Ifa-0000fH-64 malware acl condition: clamd: ClamAV returned /var/spool/exim/scan/1M6Ifa-0000fH-64/1M6Ifa-0000fH-64.eml: Can't create temporary directory ERROR
Hopefully somebody has encountered these messages too and found a solution. After days of reading on the internet I haven't come up with a solution for my problem.
Thanks for any help..
