close ssh port on public ip

there is a way to close ssh port form external ip?

i have a installation with 2 networks,

1 public: 188.188.188.188
1 local: 192.168.0.50

i want to close ssh form extern ip and use only internal ip for ssh logins

This can be done by telling SSH to only listen on the internal ip.

Got to admit, this sounds a bit risky-what happens if you lose the internal ip?

Then you can normally still login to Directadmin as admin and change the SSH config file to your needs again.

in this case i can login to my esxi console and use from this... btw tnx to @realcryptonight , works perfectly.

now im tring to secure imap login attemps from foreign countries...if anyone have ay idea.

Not yet, except for the existing methods. But maybe it's more wise to start a new topic about this.
More users may have the same question and the title will be different so more chance to lure users which might have a solution for imap.
