Recently migrated from a WHM/Cpanel setup so this is all a bit too new to me. We manage our DNS normally in Cloudflare, setup the records we need there, and never needed to really touch the DNS inside Cpanel itself.

With DirectAdmin, so I still need to modify the DNS Management page for my domain? Is there anything special I need to do so that I can keep Cloudflare maintaining all the records? When we converted from Cpanel, it imported a ton of records inside DNS Management.

If your nameservers point to Cloudflare that should be enough to pick up your Cloudflare account's DNS records without needing DirectAdmin's.

Thanks! One thing I'm seeing referenced is periods at the end of a domain name. In DirectAdmin DNS Management for say testdomain.com account it shows as:

A | testdomain.com. | 14400 | XX.XXX.XX.XXX
MX | testdomain.com. | 14400 | XX.XXX.XX.XXX

Would I add those periods when setting up the records at CloudFlare?
