CNAME and subdomain?

Hi All,
I have a website hosted, and the control panel is through DirectAdmin. I host a wordpress site on my domain. I am trying to install a service called "Onswipe" which allows iPad and iPhone users to have an optimized way to view. The instructions say this, but I'm not sure how to do this:

"Choose a Custom Domain
--A domain with its CNAME record pointed to onswipe.com--"

I created the subdomain ipad.mywebsite.com through the directadmin control panel and placed the code that the instructions gave in the <head> section of my site. Does anyone know how to make the subdomain have a CNAME record pointed to onswipe.com?

Appeared To Figure Out

Hi,
I have figured out how to alter the CNAME in the DNS settings. However, when I try to edit, it says I do not have permission to do so. Any ideas?
